A guided Expriment around weight

We shall experiment with very delicate ways of relating to weight and with it to others. Getting very detailed about its distribution and noticing how even a slight change of the contact with the ground - could change our whole structure. Other questions we will explore: How is the experience of ourselves influenced by the ways in which we lean into the floor and draw support from it? How could we give the weight of one body part (say the head) to another one (the hand, the arm, that is touching the floor)? How to move the weight from one base to another without losing the connection to the ground? Do I feel more safe on my left sitting bone or the right one?

The first part of the class will be a solo Feldenkrais exploration of these themes - our own body and the ground. In the second part, we will work with a partner, and play with the possibility of giving and receiving weight to and of other humans. We will work with very small quantities of weight, focusing on sensitivity and precision.

The class takes place in Lübbenerstr.26, 8.07, at 17 - 19, and the price is 15 euros (cash in venue is also good, just let me know you are coming).
