Society has instructed us a great deal about sexuality. Television, books, arts, pornography are all filled with role models, with images of how sexuality could and is supposed to look and and feel like. How much and what of all this social modeling ever aligned with you? And how much didn’t? Have you ever had a moment, a hint of sexuality outside of this construction? Another kind of sex?

In this workshop we shall explore and research experientially, through, constellation work, these and other related questions. We will make clearer distinctions between one's own sexuality and social role models, clarify the relationship between them and let them playfully interact. Moreover it will simply be a space to see others, be seen by them and share these experiences in a dynamic way.

The first part of the day will be dedicated to a long physical warm up that is Feldenkrais inspired, connecting to physical space and experimenting with spatial transference. Then we will play with non-sexual partner exercises to build trust and connection between each other. In the second part of the day, we will explore through constellations the relationship between sexual culture and our own sexuality. Solo, in pairs and with the whole group.

Constellation is an expernital modality of exploration, a (delicate and honorable) psycholgical/esotric game. We use objects or fabrics to represent what we wish to work on (for example: Me, my sexuality, sexual culture), then we order then in space, so that the spatial relationship will represent the actual ones. After this initial placement we go and ‘stand’ on the representations (or invite others to stand for us), connect to them and attempt to embody them. To see the world, the situation from their perspective, to notice what impulses, words, sensations, needs and wishes they have. And eventually, also to interact with other representations in the system we built.

Through this work sexual experiences may arise, including attraction, arousal and horniness. They are very welcomed and warmly invited, yet we are not going to act on them and get sexual with others. Rather, this is a space to observe and relate to these expriences in other ways.
